What was the debate about?

The debate was about if Cannabis should be legalised in New Zealand. The main points of this debate were that Cannabis should be legalised for medicinal use, from Chloe's point of view and that is should be drug free from Bob's point of view.

What did you learn?

I learned that people have complete different points of view on this situation and that there are many pros and cons in this situation. I have learnt that there is many things going on in colorado.

What are your thoughts on what you have heard?

Our thoughts have not changed on the situation, we still think that marijuana should be legalised for medicinal use.

In health today we learnt about our well being and how it affects us. We learnt about both the maori philosophy and pacific, they are both very similar but then again different. I preferred the Maori version because I believed it spoke to me more and relates to me and my family's values.

Net sports:Volleyball skills/stratergies

Our Focus in PE recently has been volleyball, we have been learning skills and different defensive and attacking strategies. I've improved lot since starting this focus as I have improved my skills and have learned the rules and regulations when playing volleyball, an example of this is when I first started I couldn't do a consistent overhand serve nor a straight dig but now I am able to be consistent in both those areas and how to keep a straight dig. I know when to rotate, which way and why we need to.

We have learnt many different attacking strategies that would help us in a game some are attacking and some are defensive, they vary. Some attacking strategies include, A spike, Hitting the ball into space where there is no one there and keeping the ball alive so it doesn't hit the floor. Some defensive strategies are Blocking, Cover the area, Cover the ball and keeping the ball alive.

Future recommendations:
More power, hit into space, , use better strategies, use ll the skills
